In Vigo I was put up and given the luxury of a shower and wifi. Besides Vigo nightlife, I was also shown the wonders of Baiona. At La Lanzada a beach nearby I met a couple of local kitesurfers who helped me brave the open surf.   Photos of around the Vigo estuary, Baiona (check out the amazing night club Vila Rosa) and Playa America!   album

Across North Spain

I avoided the tolls and motorways and saw a lot of the country and small villages. It's obviously not unusual as I was continuously overtaken by trucks not happy with my 80km/h. Outside one small village I was sitting in the sun on my laptop eating salted cashews out of a can when an old man coming back from the woods offered me some fresh walnuts he had picked. Amazing generosity!   I also crossed the camino de santiago and was sitting on my sofa while a few weary pilgrimers walked by. One particular guy was swearing and cursing out loud to himself.   album
